Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation, residents at Cabrillo’s Camino Esperanza Apartments and United Way of Ventura County will create a community garden for the 30th annual Day of Caring on Sept. 28.

Volunteers create a community garden at Cabrillo’s Simi Valley property that serves individuals and families ages 62 and older.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 28, at Camino Esperanza Apartments, 1358 Katherine Road South in Simi Valley.
